Disorienting Divertissement (2017)
A collaboration with performer Grayson Morris for the Asheville Fringe Arts Festival, 'Disorienting Divertissement,' led audience members through a series of experiences and confusions throughout the city's downtown district. Performing collaborators include Keith Rudd, Ryan Madden, Stirling Gardner, Christine Josephine, Geneva Bierce-Wilson, Walter Hill, Megan Riley, Karen Kotiw, Robert Bo Davis, and Rigel Pawlak. The piece was documented by Jennifer Bennett and David Gwaltney. Special Thanks to Zachary Yancey for the 33ft. stretch limo, to the Basilica of St.Lawrence, to Susan and Giles of BeBe Theatre, to Rockdoll Vintage, World Coffee, Jim and Jocelyn- the producers of Asheville Fringe- and to the City of Asheville and Pack Square park.

Disorienting Divertissement
A collaborative new genres improv-theatre flash-mob installation-performance art work and interactive pedestrian experience. Carried out on Asheville Fringe Arts Festival 2017 by collaborating artists Grayson Morris and Lynn Nesseth. The audience was subject to some but not all of the following: surprise auditions, interviews with chauffeur service, library book secret-sharing, a blindfolded lift, St.Lawrence Basilica, Aquarian age make-overs, elevator goodbye videos, Marry Fuck Kill, small acts of civil disobedience, and a confrontation with teenagers.
